Comas: what happens behind the scenes is what drives the front line.

Back Room Support - Many small organisations have great ideas and good practice, but lack the time and experience to tackle the tasks that ensure their sustainability. At Comas we use our skills and experience to help other organisations to continue to play their diverse roles in making our communities work.

Comas is working with Citadel Youth Centre to prepare for a major fundraising campaign to build a state-of-the-art extension on their youth centre in the heart of Leith, ensuring young people have the best facilities to prepare for their future.

Comas is helping Crew to communicate its achievements to a wider audience, and work towards a sustainable future by exploring methods of income generation and fundraising to ensure Crew continues to provide for young drug users.

Comas works with partner organisations in Sri Lanka to share skills and experience.

Over the past two years we've supported ECSAT, a Sri Lankan organisation, to develop its communications materials for stakeholders.

We have provided training workshops and seminars at the CARM South Asian Conference on Resource Mobilisation in November 2009.

Comas is also working to develop a capacity building partnership with the Institute of Human Rights in Sri Lanka.

We are continuing to seek out funding to support our work with partners in Sri Lanka, sharing our skills and helping our partners and others to achieve their vision of social justice.
